The Donner Lake Rim Trail is owned and maintained by the Truckee Donner Land Trust.  It can be accessed via the Glacier Way trailhead.  The Donner Lake Rim Trail circumnavigates scenic Donner Lake below and offers challenging terrain for all non-motorized trail users.  A portion of this trail that winds through Tahoe Donner and connects the Glacier Way Trailhead to the Trout Creek paved path leading to downtown Truckee.
