The trail is primarily used by hunters to access public opportunities. Mowed once annually post ground-nesting bird peak activity, sometime after July 15. Trail navigates through mature oak/hickory forest out of boat ramp parking lot up hill. The east side of the trail is a natural surface navigating through maintained early successional habitat.
