Annually mowed access trails meander through a diverse shrubland and forestland ecosystem. This area has been intensively managed for habitat diversity including: timber harvest, tree mulching, mowing, tree planting, and invasive species removal. Excellent wildlife viewing opportunities exist for a broad range of wildlife and bird species. Mowing efforts annually take place after July 15. Young forest habitats viewed here provide a critical habitat for several unique species.
