Marking: Yellow Rectangles

The Hinkley Trail provides access from Poole Road directly north to the Birchtoft Trail. From there, it is possible to walk either to Gilson Pond or proceed along the Birchtoft Trail to other routes that proceed to the summit. Parking is not available at the trailhead but vehicles may be parked nearby at the park headquarters and walk from there to the start of the trail.
