Juniper Meadow Walking Loop is an accessible walking path in Vasquez Rock Natural Area. It features a relatively flat, non-rocky dirt pathway for visitors to enjoy the scenery near the “Famous Rocks”. The trail is suitable for people of all ages and accommodates most strollers, wagons, and some mobility devices.

Junipers (Waa’t in Tataviam pronounced as “wah-ht”) require surprisingly little to thrive and survive, living 150 years or more. Various animals such as birds, coyotes, deer, bobcats, rabbits, butterflies, and moths, utilize the juniper for shelter, shade, food, and nesting.
