Trail Access Allowed through State Parks
Access to these trails are allowed through Kokee and Waimea Canyon State Parks. All other trails, lookouts, and park areas closed. (NOTE: Vehicle Access is not allowed beyond Kalalau Lookout. Hikers must walk the park road beyond that point to access Pihea trailhead.)
The trail starts near the Kōkeʻe State Park Headquarters. This trail goes through the Kuia Natural Area Reserve before reaching the Nā Pali-Kona Forest Reserve. The trail ends at 2,234 ft. elevation at a U.S.G.S. survey marker titled "Lolo No. 2". This trail is used mostly as an access route for hunters but also serves as an alternate route to the cross over Nualolo Cliff Trail to Awaʻawapuhi Trail.
