Jam-packed on a summer weekend or any time during fall hunting season, the large gravel pullout 1-2 miles past Eureka Lodge is a jumping off point for many of the Eureka-area motorized trails. The Old Man Creek Trail is one of the primary ways to access this area. About halfway through its 10-mile length, the trail reaches the Four Corners area, where multiple routes diverge and extend to the Little Nelchina River and beyond into the Talkeetna Mountains. This trail is multi-use and year-round and popular with snowmachiners in the winter.
Please note that many of the Eureka area trails are challenging even for experienced riders. Nearly all feature muddy sections, ruts, and stream/river crossings that can be dangerous at any water level.
