Pine Loop/Cabin Trail is a lightly trafficked, loop trail that traverses a beech-maple forest with an occasional cherry, pine, or ash. One section of the trail follows a power line right-of-way, a remnant of the area’s old farm fields now very popular for bird watchers. Hikers may also rest in the shade of the ancient oak trees at the Acton Lake overlook. Dogs on leashes are also able to use this trail.
