The Pioneer Loop is a gentle rolling trail, groomed in winter for cross-country skiing.  The trail is enjoyed by both beginners and advanced skiers, and is the only ski trail in Government Peak Recreation are that allows snowshoeing, walking and dogs while trails are groomed.
