Approaching the summit from the Northeast, the Pumpelly Trail is the longest and most strenuous route to the peak of Monadnock and provides excellent views along its upper slopes. Only limited parking is available at the Pumpelly Trailhead on Lake Road on the south side of Dublin Lake.
