Starting in Camping Area 3 near site 100, this trail traverses through oak/hickory forests, perfect for wildlife viewing, like squirrel and wild turkey, and then crossing a small creek full of shale before cresting a ridge to meet with Deer Run Trail. In the winter months, you may get a glimpse of the grand Ohio River.
