This trail connects from Big Rock Road (Big Rock Motorway Trail) west over the ridge to a large dirt overlook above Las Flores Canyon and over to Saddle Peak. The route passes two clearings. At each, make a hard left and continue downhill to stay on the trail to the final overlook. The return trip is a workout, but the trail provides great views in all directions of the Santa Monica Mountains and Pacific Ocean.

From PCH, take Big Rock Drive for 1.3 miles. Take a right to stay on Big Rock Drive, and then a left to continue past the residential neighborhood into the hills. Park anywhere along the road and then follow it north to the trailhead, which will be on the left.
