The Humbug Trail is a 5.40 lightly trafficked hike along the Humbug Creek. The trail starts off wide, descending along the creek. After the first mile, the trail narrows and becomes steeper, giving it a moderately difficult rating. Plan on 3-4 hours of hiking, but save some time to check out the falls along the way. At the turn-around point, check out the South Yuba River and picnic grounds, before making the almost 950-foot climb back to your vehicle.
