The Wapehani South Loop Trail route is located on the southern half of the park and crosses onto private property. The South Loop is accessible by heading south from the parking lot and using the Wapehani Central Connector Trail to cross Wapehani Creek. Trail users can also access the southern trails by crossing at the far west side of the park or carefully at the Wapehani East Connector Trail. There is a shelter with one picnic table available for use that makes a great rest stop over spot looking wetlands. The hillsides have been used to create flowy trails with berms and a couple jumps here and there.
The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation has an easement to allow trail users to access segments of trail on private property. Please use caution when approaching trail intersections and remember the Rules of the Trail when visiting the park.
Wapehani Mountain Bike Park features nearly 5 miles of rolling single-track trails for mountain bike use and hiking on approx. 46 acres of wooded and grassy park land. Riders must wear helmets and use caution when navigating these mostly dirt trails.
