The Western Ridgeline Trail is a .3 mile path with an 86 foot elevation gain. This trail is a moderately difficult hike on a path that takes hikers through a scenic landscape that includes a views of Los Angeles and surrounding communities.
The trail is located within Kenneth Hahn State Recreational Area and connects to Diane’s Trail, City View Trail and the Bowl Loop Trail.
From the 405 southbound, take the Jefferson Boulevard exit, turn left onto Jefferson Boulevard then turn right onto West Slauson Avenue. From the 405 northbound, take the Jefferson Boulevard exit east and turn right on West Slauson Avenue. Turn left on La Cienega Boulevard, the main entry to the park is at 4100 South La Cienega Boulevard.
The Link – Baldwin Hills Parklands shuttle bus service transports park visitors from the Metro Expo La Cienega Station to Kenneth Hahn State Recreational Area and the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook.
- The Parklands Shuttle operates 8 am – 6:00 pm Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays
- Rides are .25 cents one way. The shuttle is free for Seniors and children under 5.
- The shuttle has 3 routes with stops located at the La Cienega/Jefferson Metro bus stop adjacent to the Expo Station, Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, and Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area
- Shuttles run on a 20-minute route, is airconditioned, and ADA accessible.
